Surrendering Your Lab
We can help you rehome your Labrador
We never want to see a Lab in need of a new home. We hope to someday live in a world where there is never a Lab without a forever home that is truly forever. We do realize, however, that such a dream world is not our world today.
Before you make the final decision to rehome your Lab, we urge you to take the time to speak to our Owner Surrender Coordinator about other options. We can provide resources to trainers who can help with behavior issues and our volunteers can help with advice and suggestions that may help keep your dog in your home. Contact owner.surrenders@lolin.org or visit our Helpful links page to find contact information for the trainers we recommend.
If you still feel that keeping your Lab is completely impossible, we can help find a new home for your Lab. Owner surrenders that come into our program are adopted through the same Adoption Process as our shelter rescues.
